021 The Inca Odyssey

from 5,000.00

This trip begins with a short introductory journey to the heart of the Inca Empire, Cusco. Cusco was the capital of the once “Tawantinsuyu” empire that dominated a vast part of today’s Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and as far of Rio Maule in Chile. It covered almost 2 million square km!
The Sacred Valley has many archaeological complexes that show the engineering and architectural skills of the Quechua People. The stone work they performed gives you a sense of amazement and respect!

Machu Picchu is still an enigma, regardless of the many investigations and studies, it still remains a mystery. It is here where you get an overwhelming sense of discovery and exploration.

The journey also takes you to the Lake Titicaca region, a different contrast of Peru offering higher altitudes and colder temperatures. However, the warmth and hospitality of the local people remind you of the importance of sharing and reciprocity - words that rule their everyday lives.
