Upon arrival at Lima airport a representative will meet you and drive you to your hotel in Miraflores.
A private transfer will take you from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival at the Cusco airport you will meet our representative to drive you to the historic centre. On the way to your hotel you will see examples of Spanish colonial architecture raised upon the foundations of ancient Inca palaces and temples. Arriving mid-day at your hotel, you now have the rest of the day to begin your exploration of the city and get used to the altitude. Overnight in Cusco.
Spend the morning at your leisure. In the afternoon an expert guide will take you to some of the world’s best archaeological sites in and around the city, including the Cusco Cathedral in the Plaza de Armas and the fabulous Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha (the heart of the Inca Empire). You will also visit the spectacular ruins of the Sacsayhuaman fortress overlooking the city, as well as the ruins of Q'enko, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay nearby. In the late afternoon you will return to your hotel

Explore the beautiful Peruvian countryside with a full-day tour of the magical Sacred Valley, home to several royal estates of Incan emperors. First, you will visit the town of Pisac, famous for its bustling indigenous market and for the beautiful Incan ruins on the hillside overlooking the city. In the market you will have the opportunity to browse the beautiful handicrafts and Andean garments displayed for sale as well as the local fruits, vegetables, and other natural products. While exploring the Pisac ruins above, you will wander through walls and palaces of spectacularly cut stones and enjoy stunning views of Pisac and the Sacred Valley below. Following your visit to Pisac, you will stop for lunch at a buffet restaurant offering a variety of Peruvian and international food near the town of Urubamba. After lunch you will visit the remarkable Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo. This magnificent archaeological site that clings to the hillside overlooking the small town of Ollantaytambo still has Inca houses at its base, making Ollantaytambo the only Inca city that is still inhabited today. In the late afternoon you will be taken to your comfortable hotel in the Sacred Valley to spend the night.
After breakfast at your Sacred Valley hotel you will take a train to Machu Picchu, the hidden Inca citadel. This hour-and-a-half train ride takes you along the Vilcanota river with amazing changing views of the Andean landscape as the train descends from the high lands down through the cloud forest. Once in Aguas Calientes, the town at the base of Machu Picchu, you will be accompanied to the bus station for a 25-minute bus ride up to the Machu Picchu citadel. Then with your guide you will have a 2 hour tour of the most important sites in Machu Picchu, such as the Intihuatana (Sun Stone), the Sun Temple, The Temple of the Condor, the Inca Bridge, and many other buildings. In the late afternoon you will take a train back to Ollantaytambo and then a bus to Cusco where you will be transferred to your hotel for the evening.
Free day in Cusco; perfect chance for a day of rest and getting souvenirs before your departure. After breakfast at your hotel one of our representatives will meet you and take you to the airport for your journey home or onto your next destination.
If your journey is to Lima (connecting flights late night to USA), upon arrival in Lima our representative will meet you in the airport and take you to downtown Lima.
You will have a guided tour of the colonial town and then a late lunch in a fine restaurant before you are transferred to the airport for your flight home.
